Ben Varnado - Owner/Automotive Technician
I originally went to college for a degree in mechanical engineering, but quickly discovered that it just wasn't for me. After some thought, I enrolled in and graduated from WyoTech Technical School with degrees in Automotive Technology, Service Management and Fabrication. After I graduated in 2003, my wife and I decided to settle in Charleston, South Carolina. Since then, I have gained extensive experience not only working on automobiles, but also the unseen side of the business. With the rollercoaster ride that the year 2021 has brought us, I am open for business in the community I love.
Cindy Varnado - Controller
Behind every great man is a great woman and Cindy is no exception. She has been there for me getting things done since day one. She has a degree in finance, has been an accountant for longer than I have been working on cars and has more than mastered her field of expertise. If I have a problem, she is the one that gets stuff done.
Charles McCarthy - Automotive Technician
Obsessed with cars from an early age, Charles built his first car from the ground up with his dad in his garage in California, a 1980 Jeep CJ5. Since then, he graduated top of his class from WyoTech Technical School with a degree in Automotive Technology that lead him to a full scholarship for the rigorous BMW/MINI Cooper Service Technician Education Program (STEP). After working in a Baltimore, Maryland BMW dealership, he moved to South Carolina and worked at the MINI dealership for a while before finding his true calling at independent automotive shops. With 13 years of experience under his belt, he is ready for a lot more!
